About DST
DST A/S is certified according to OHSAS 18001.
At DST we consider our employees as the most important resource in order to maintain a successful, long term business, able to satisfy customers and owners etc.
Thus health and safety have a very strong focus in order to keep our employees perfectly fit, sound and in balance and this wellbeing is not only limited to the daily working hours but also takes into considerations the private sphere and the variations of needs through a lifetime.
DST regards the health and safety of our employees equally high as other aspects of business in a balance where we obey relevant legislation etc. from the society and at the same time maintain our competitiveness.
This responsibility for the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees is expressed in our health and safety policies, as follows:

DST must arrange production facilities and administration etc. to prevent injuries, accidents and bad influence on health.
In every arrangement in DST, whether in the production, in the administration or outdoor facilities we must constantly evaluate the risks for employees to get injured or exposed to conditions that might jeopardize health both in the short and in the long perspective.

Employees at DST must be equipped to have the best possible, personal protection, both physically and as regards knowledge.
We must constantly make sure that all employees at DST are equipped with necessary personal protection to assure maximum safety in all situations. Further it is of outmost importance that that employee are currently informed, educated and trained on safety matters in order to assure full and updated knowledge.
3.
The mental working environment and climate must have a high priority at DST in order to ensure everybody the best possible conditions for performance.
Every employee at DST in general and the management in particular must have a strong focus on the mental working environment in order to deal with situations and incidents that might lead to conflicts or tensions in the organisation. Further it is important to carry through events and educational information in order to maintain the best possible climate.
In order for above mentioned policies to be observed they must be further elaborated through goals and action plans integrated in the DST quality management system. Follow up on specific actions and corrective or preventive measures are the responsibility of the management but all employees in the company should be aware of these measures. Board of Directors and Management must continuously evaluate the implementation and effects of the Health & Safety policies in DST.
